Bake Up A Brand In 5 Steps
FUN FACT: There are 4.65 billion social media users on the planet. (58% of the population)
#1
IDEA: Be the solution to a problem or fill an important need.
Getting clear on your "WHY" will be our first step on our first consulting call.
Ask yourself:
- What's the reason I'm building this business?
- Why does it matter to me?
- What problem does it solve?
Not having these answers is a large part of why 45% of businesses fail in the 5 yrs.

Branding: Developing your messaging and visual brand is vital to handle early on so you can hop on board the social media band wagon and begin to really grow.
- "Only 25% of new businesses make it to 15 years or more. Make sure your branding lines up with the audience you want to reach." -Bureau of Labor Statistics

#3
SOCIAL MEDIA: Begin your social media posts early on in your journey to build credibility (you look much more serious with 50 posts instead of 4)
The top 3 social platforms right now are Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook. (LinkedIn is also vital!)
- 84% of Americans use at least one social media network

DELIVER THE GOODS: Now that you have a vision, a professional brand, some social media posts and practice, it's time to deliver your product.
Whether it's a service or a tangible product, ship it and ship it well! Consider the packaging, presentation and creating a connection with your customer.
If you're selling a service, show up on time and with a great attitude.
If you're shipping, add a free gift and make that experience a treat for your customers!

Press, PR, print exposure, online features: I recall pitching for the first time to a huge TV station we all know. It was early on in my marketing career using television but I was bold and simply told them what I do and I'd love to be featured.
- I was turned away with advice I'll never forget: "Once you have something we can point viewers to, to either attend or purchase, come back and tell us. You're not quite ready yet."
Since then I've been on TV over 10 times. I don't go on until my website looks clean, is user friendly and easy to purchase from or the event I'm promoting has dates and locations set.
